Uncertainty exists regarding the marriage cert, with the fathers’ names believed to have been inadvertently attached to the wrong party: Michael’s father was Michael and Margaret’s was Patrick. Michael’s brother Joseph, who died on the same day in February 1949, also appears on the census return, adding further corroboration.
